The primary goal of this app is to provide COVID-19 related information like stats, preventive measures, symptoms, testing sites, treatments, types of tests and vaccinations.

This app will work as a data aggregation tool with both static and dynamic content from approved sources such as CDC, TXDSHC, and local city & health department officials.

This app is available as free download from app stores (Google play and Apple’s app stores), and information is accessible via browser.

A push notification service is available to provide latest COVID-19 related information to the app users.

HOW IT WORKS

COVID IN THE BASIN app never collects or processes any personally identifiable information from the App.

When user install app first time, it stores user preferences like language selection, your city etc in the settings.

No personally identifiable or location information is collected, stored, or exchanged.

If a user opt-in for notifications, the app sends latest updates related to COVID information.

YOUR CHOICES USING THE APP

Using the COVID IN THE BASIN App is completely voluntary, and you may choose to install and uninstall the App at any time.

The COVID IN THE BASIN App will never collect, track or store your location, GPS information, or personal information.

TERMINATING APP PARTICIPATION

Participation in the COVID IN THE BASIN App may be terminated at any time by deleting or uninstalling the App from your device.

After the COVID IN THE BASIN App is deleted or uninstalled, your device will no longer store the information.

SHARING OF INFORMATION

The following event data may be processed and collected in the COVID IN THE BASIN App.

• Installing the COVID IN THE BASIN App
• Select City and Language
• Enabling and disabling Notifications
• Deleting the app
